Description
I'm Amanda Scott, a Transactional Analysis Counsellor based near Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire. I offer both in-person and online counselling for individuals and couples, providing a safe, supportive space to explore life’s challenges.
Counselling is a powerful tool for self-discovery. Together, we’ll work to understand what’s holding you back and find new ways to navigate life with more clarity and confidence. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, or simply want to understand yourself better—you are welcome here.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent many years working in corporate and consultancy roles. But throughout my life, I’ve always been drawn to understanding people—what motivates them, how they think and feel, and how this impacts their relationships and wellbeing. That lifelong interest led me to discover Transactional Analysis (TA) and ultimately retrain as a TA Counsellor.
Now, I run my own private practice, supporting individuals and couples through a range of emotional and mental health challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that change is possible for everyone.
I also have additional training in working with Autistic and ADHD clients, and I offer support in a neuro-affirming way — respecting and embracing neurodiversity.
Counselling can help you understand why you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed—and support you in building the tools to move forward.
If you’re ready to take the first step or would like to find out more, feel free to get in touch. I offer a free initial consultation so we can see if we’re the right fit.
